Palo Alto. What can I say about this city except that there’s always unexpected walls for you to shoot. haha. Every little alleyway has some sort of awesome wall that gives photos character and pop. There’s also nearby Stanford where TONS of couples go to shoot their wedding pictures.
Julia and Eddy started off getting ready at the Four Seasons Hotel in East Palo Alto. The lobby has floor to ceiling windows that just let awesome natural light in. It was great!
We then went to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto to get some pictures in and they had their ceremony at First United Methodist in Palo Alto. Finally the reception at Ming’s in Palo Alto. I think I finally dialed in on my “dance party lighting”. haha I had more keepers this wedding than ever. Enough talk about locations and lighting! Just peep em! =P
Seriously only cool make-up artists use a Hello Kitty make-up box.
So happy!! =)
The no look shot. haha Awesomes. =)
I heart downtown Palo Alto walls. =)
all four of these walls are within 2 blocks of each other. I love it. haha.
black clean benz = super shiny and super reflective
Dance paaaaarrtaaaay!! =)
OMG. I couldn’t wait to shoot Wendy and Darren. What a totally awesome couple. Fun loving and were willing to do anything I asked. hahaha. Awesome no? Started off the day at downtown palo alto. This place always surprises me. I’m totally finding new and awesome textures and backdrops every time I go. Also revisited some old faves while I was at it. After exhausting my options within like a square block (maybe it was two blocks… I don’t remember) Drove over to Shoreline to get some sunset shots. Fun times jumping over creeks, puddles and watching the occasional jackrabbit scurry around the fields, throwing giant boulders of dried/caked mud around. what a ridiculous time. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding! Enough words! Time for pics…
dude aren’t they the cutest evar? haha just told them to make a silly/awesome pose for ever click. there were more but these two stood out!
awww. this is one of my faves.
haha took quite a bit of work to get here. totally love the flora on this wall. You can see why it took a bit of work to get where they were in the second picture.
yeah I told her to use my back as a stool. haha I need to bring a small ladder next time =P
digggin shoreline at sunset. heart!
